RUSHIN a prescription medication used to treat neuropathic pain,
fibromyalgia, partial-onset seizures, and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).
It functions as a gabapentinoid anticonvulsant, decreasing pain signals from damaged nerves.
Common side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, weight gain, and dry mouth.

- Uses of Rushin: Neuropathic pain (diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia), fibromyalgia, spinal cord injury pain, add-on therapy for partial seizures, and GAD.
- Forms: Oral capsules, solution, and extended-release tablets.
- Dosage: Typically taken 2-3 times daily, with or without food. Dosage varies by condition, ranging from 150mg-600mg daily.
- Side Effects: Common side effects (occurring in >1 in 100 people) include dizziness, sleepiness, headache, blurred vision, weight gain, and edema (swollen hands/feet).
- Warnings: It can cause dependency and has abuse potential. It may cause suicidal thoughts. Do not suddenly stop taking it, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms.
