TEROM contains Resmetirom, a selective thyroid hormone receptor beta (THR-β) agonist designed to target metabolic pathways involved in liver disease. Resmetirom acts primarily in the liver and helps regulate hepatic lipid metabolism, supporting reduction of abnormal liver fat and addressing metabolic processes associated with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also referred to as MASH.

TEROM is indicated for appropriate adults with noncirrhotic NASH/MASH accompanied by moderate-to-advanced liver fibrosis, together with diet and exercise as part of comprehensive disease management.
